| CATATAN / REFLEKSI | Most of the students need a lot of guidance in understanding this lesson as their proficiency in the English language is very low. |

| AKTIVITI | - Teacher explains to the students that transitional expressions are used to link their ideas together in their writing classes - Transitional expressions are also known as discourse markers, connectors and linking words - Teacher gets students to practice constructing sentences using transitional expressions to signal a main point and contrasting ideas. |
| CATATAN / REFLEKSI | The students were quite slow in understanding the lesson. The teacher needs to reteach the skill in a simple way in order to enable the students to understand what is taught to them. |
