ACTIVITY	-          Teacher explains to the students that when they are asked to write a summary of a paragraph or text, they are required to select the key points and restate them in their own words without altering the ideas and attitude of the writer -          We need to summarise in order to i.                    Simplify the text so that it is easy to remember ii.                  To answer exam questions iii.                To report on information -          Tr shows some sentences and get students to practice paraphrasing the senetnces to develop their skill in paraphrasing.
REFLECTION	-          Most of the students were able to paraphrase the simple sentences given to them with the teacher’s guide.

AKTIVITI	-          Tr explains that the purpose of expository writing is to explain something clearly and accurately -          They also learn how to describe ideas and concepts and another form of expository writing is to describe states and processes -          Writing about states and processes involves a combination of descriptive and narrative skills. -          Tr shows examples of how to desribe a state of existing condition or position of things or persons.
CATATAN / REFLEKSI	-          Students were able to follow this lesson satisfactorily.

AKTIVITI	-          Tr explains to the students the effect and causes of why people in modern society live busy yet unfulfilled lives. -          Tr starts the essay with the effect and later follows with the causes of the unfulfilled lives. -          Students practice writing the causes with the tr to get them to understand the lesson.
CATATAN / REFLEKSI	-          Students were able to follow the lesson well with the step-by-step explanation by the tr.

AKTIVITI	-          Tr explains to the students that describing a process is to explain how to do things or how something works -          We need to draw a plan of our process in which all the facts and details are arranged in the right order -          Tr gets the students to practice describing a process on How To Make a Healthy Snack. -          Tr guides students in their writing.

AKTIVITI	-          Tr explains that in a discussion we often have to respond to rhe point that has been raised -          We may show our agreement or disagreement with the point -          When we do this we are responding to the agreement or disagreement expressed earlier by others in the discussion -          Students practice some of the common expressions used to respond to agreement and disagreement
CATATAN / REFLEKSI	-          Students were able to learn some expressions to express their agreement on a particular issue with a particular point in a discussion
