Therefore, to distinguish   between factual information from opinions a speaker usually uses specific   expressions such as: Research has   shown that ... According to   Professor ... It has been   found that ... These are   some common expressions used to express factual information Below are   some common expressions used to give personal opinions; In my opinion   ... I believe ... I personally   believe ...             iv. Students practice giving   factual information and personal opinions using the expressions taught to   them on a given issue.  |
