Specific Objectives	By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:- -          Find the meanings of the words and their phonetic symbols
Activities	-          Teacher explains to the students that a dictionary entry consists of a headword and information about the headword. -          Teacher guides the students how to find words in the dictionary. -          Teacher gets the students to find the meaning of the words given in the passage.

Activity	-          Teacher gets the students to read the 20 questions given in the muet workbook -          Teacher goes through each of the questions with the students so that they understand the requirement of the each question. -          Teacher plays each recording for each part twice and students answer the listening questions part by part. -          Teacher checks the answers with the students after that for corrections.

Reflection	Some of the students did well in part two and one but most of them did quite badly in part three.

Reflection	Majority of the students were able to write the introduction satisfactorily under the teacher’s guide.

Activity	-          After the students had written their introduction yesterday, the teacher gets them to write the first two paragraphs of the content of their essay. -          Teacher checks the sentences the students write for grammar error in the form of lexical and syntax.

Objective	Students were able to write the first two paragraphs satisfactorily under the teacher’s guide
Reflection	Most of the students were able to write the two paragraphs satisfactorily well under the teacher’s guidance.

Specific Objectives	By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:- -          Learn how to fix a leaking tap
Activities	-          Teacher sets some questions asking the students what they will do if their tap is leaking. -          Students answer the questions and form a short paragraph of how to fix a leaking tap. -          After they had written a short paragraph the teacher checks their work.

Specific Objectives	By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:- -          Find a word in the passage on “Home Hints” that have the same meanings as the list of words given.
Activities	-          Teacher gets the students to read three parts of a reading sections about how to fix things at home when they encounter problem with a drawer that is difficult to open, how to twist a cork on the screw and how to remove liquid paper stain on a paper.
