AKTIVITI | - Teacher explains that a state is an existing condition or position of persons or things - We can describe the state of people or things by explaining the causes which contribute to the state - Teacher shows examples of a cause and effect type of essay - Students do practice constructing paragraphs of a given issue on the causes and solutions |
CATATAN / REFLEKSI | Most of the students were very ppor in the language and as such they had a very hard time in construction of the general statement and thesis statement. |

AKTIVITI | - Teacher explains to the students that a short story is a work of fiction which comes from the writer’s imagination - It has characters, setting (the time and place of the action) and plot - The plot is the set of connected events on which a story is based. - Students learn about a character in a short story in the sample passage given to them by the teacher and they discuss about it |
CATATAN / REFLEKSI | This was an interesting lesson. Students enjoyed the lesson and were able to describe the character quite well in the story. |
