-          We can describe the state of people or things by explaining the causes  which contribute to the state
-          Teacher shows examples of a cause and effect type of essay
-          Students do practice constructing paragraphs of a given issue on the causes and solutions
CATATAN / REFLEKSI
Most of the students need a lot of guidance in understanding this lesson as their proficiency in the English language is very low.

Students will be able to use transitional expressions to signal a main point such as another problem is, my first mai point, etc .
AKTIVITI
-          Teacher explains to the students  that transitional expressions are used to link their ideas together in their writing classes
-          Transitional expressions are also known as discourse markers, connectors and linking words
-          Teacher gets students to practice constructing sentences using transitional expressions to signal a main point and contrasting ideas.
CATATAN / REFLEKSI
The students were quite slow in understanding the lesson. The teacher needs to reteach the skill in a simple way in order to enable the students to understand what is taught to them.
