AKTIVITI
Students listen very carefully to the talk and pay attention to the context in which key words or phrases occur.
When they listen for the specific details or information, they pay particular attention to the following types of information such as names of people, places and things, statistics, events, reasons and causes.

-          After that, they have to generate plenty of ideas and be able to present better ideas in a different perspective.
-          Using a mind map to help them organise their thoughts and ideas.

-          when they want to skim a text, firstly they have to read the title or topic headings and the opening paragraph carefully
-          they begin with reading the first sentence of each paragraph
-          then they read a few words in the middle
-          they read the last paragraph carefully. The writer often summarises the main idea at the end
CATATAN / REFLEKSI
Most of the students were able to understand how to skim a text after the general explanation had been given.
