Students will be able to decsribe the food guide pyramid and the importance of healthy eating

Students will be able to write out an article in about 250 words on Keys to Healthy Living
AKTIVITI

-          Teacher discusses with the students the diagram on Keys to Healthy Living with the guide of the food pyramid
-          Students list out the kind of foods that should be taken more often compared to food that should be taken less due to their amount of carbohydrates and protein contents.
-          After jotting down the necessary words to describe the food suitanle for eating students draft their essay with the help of their teacher.
CATATAN / REFLEKSI
Half of the students were able to construct their framework of their essay well whereas the rest need the teacher’s guide to construct their paragraphs.

Students will be able to listen to the following statements and pick out the key words or ideas and paraphrasing them.
AKTIVITI
       - Teacher explains to the students that paraphrasing is a restatement of all the speaker’s ideas in their own words
- when they listen to any spoken  discourse they should first pick out key words or ideas that can help them understand the gist of what the person is saying.
Then, they paraphrase by linking the key words or ideas.
-          Students practice paraphrasing the statements with the teacher to teach them how to paraphrase statements correctly.
CATATAN / REFLEKSI
       Students were able to learn satisfactorily how to paraphrase statements they heard correctly.

-          Tr gives each group of students a situation and each of them answers the task according to their candidacy.  
-          Each of the students presents his own individual task while the teacher assesses them.

-          This was quite a challenging lesson. Some of the students had a poor command of the language.
