  • Students will be able to practice the dialogues with their partner on the use of question words and their functions

AKTIVITI  

  • - Teacher explains to the students that a question that asksinformation normally uses one of the following questions words such as where, when, why, who, whose, what, which, how
  • Teacher gets the students to practice constructing oral and written sentences on the use of question words
  • Teacher guides students while they are doing their work.

CATATAN / REFLEKSI 

  • Two third of the students were able to construct sentences using the question words qiven to them whereas the remaining one third needed the teacher's guidance toconstruct sentences using the question words.

  • Students were quite able to understand the main ideas in the paragraphs shown after reinforcement were given to them.

  • Teacher explains to the students that topical order in writing is the orhanisation of information which involves classification and analysis of ideas and objects
  • A variety of ideas and objects can be arranged and grouped together through the process of sorting, arranging or grouping similar ideas or objects into some form of order based upon shared characteristics or traits.
  • Students practice writing a report using the tpical order using a sample text.

CATATAN / REFLEKSI 

This was quite a challenging lesson. The students will take this lesson again in the coming lesson for reinforcement

AKTIVITI  

  • Teacher discusses with the students the dialogies on the purchse of computer games for the computer club of rihanna'c campus
  • Teacher discusses with the students the suitable wh-question words the students might use in forming the questions for the dialogues
  • Students work in pairs to complete the dialogue with the suitable questions.

CATATAN / REFLEKSI 

Only a handful of the students were able to complete the dialogue correctly and the rest need more guidance as their proficiency in the english language was quite poor.
