Students will be able to write a summary of the sentences using their own words
Specific
Students will be able to paraphrase the the sentences given to them into a single sentence.
ACTIVITY




-          Teacher explains to the students that when they are asked to write a summary of a paragraph or text, they are required to select the key points and restate them in their own words without altering the ideas and attitude of the writer
-          We need to summarise in order to
i.                    Simplify the text so that it is easy to remember
ii.                  To answer exam questions
iii.                To report on information
-          Tr shows some sentences and get students to practice paraphrasing the senetnces to develop their skill in paraphrasing.
REFLECTION
-          Most of the students were able to paraphrase the simple sentences given to them with the teacher’s guide.

-          Tr starts the essay with the effect and later follows with the causes of the unfulfilled lives.
-          Students practice writing the causes with the tr to get them to understand the lesson.
