Activity	i. Teacher explains to the students that when a speaker discusses a subject, he usually conveys a lot of factual information ii. At the same time he may also add hos own opinions i.i. what he thinks or believes about the subject or issue iii. Therefore, to distinguish between factual information from opinions a speaker usually uses specific expressions such as: Research has shown that ... According to Professor ... It has been found that ... These are some common expressions used to express factual information Below are some common expressions used to give personal opinions; In my opinion ... I believe ... I personally believe ... iv. Students practice giving factual information and personal opinions using the expressions taught to them on a given issue.
Reflection	- Students were able to give both factual information and personal opinions satisfactorily on the issue given using the expressions taugtht.
