§ Students are given an essay- obesity can cause serious health
problems
§ Students are asked to explain the semantics of the key words in the
title and their focus
§ Students are provided guidelines: regular workouts/ a balanced
diet/and stress-free life-style to link
these to health.
§ Teacher asked students for opinions.
Notes: Title: obesity means overweight

letter to express satisfaction and thanks.
§ Students and teacher discussing the contents of the letter.
§ Students picked up at random to elicit the format of the formal
letter.
§ Students are briefed on the vocabulary items found in the text.
Reflection: Students need more vocabulary used for express satisfaction
and thanks!

§ Teacher corrects the answers on the spot (in class.)
Reflection: More exercises orally are needed to enhance students
understanding before writing the prose.
